Just bought my first Dodge, bought a 2011 2500 4x4 diesel. 1900 miles and already had to take it to the shop. Solinoid on or in the transmission made the check engine light come on. I hope this was just a flook. Anyone else had this problem?

 

Welcome to the forum. Don't know about the solenoid being a common thing, but it dies happen.

 

Got my truck back. Drives fine, didnt cost anything! I wish a warranty was forever.
