Delete the cummins section!

I am new to the cummins side of this forum, i have a 09 hemi right now but just ordered a 2013 3500 crew with the aisin so ive been poking around. Having a dedicated spot is good imo but it would be nice to have it broken up like the gasser section is.
5.9
6.7
13+ 6.7
something that separates each of the engines so everybody in that section is comparing apples to apples. Looking through some threads and people with the 5.9 are talking about how they changed stuff on theres (which gettign input from more people is great, dont stop) but sometimes what they talk about has no relevance to the new 6.7 or even now the 6.7 with DEF.

you mean something like:
89-93 first gen 12v VE
94-98 second gen 12v p7100
98.5-02 second gen 24v VP44
03-07 third gen 24v common rail
07.5-12 fourth gen 6.7L CR
13+ 6.7L DEF
etc..
it'll never happen here because there just isn't enough diesel traffic here.
however cumminsforum.com IS setup like that with it broken down even further to performance parts, powertrain non powertrain, etc... the whole site is dedicated to dodge cummins trucks, and that site has 100x more traffic than dodgeforum does.
I'm a member on both forums, but I have been on cumminsforum since 08. definitely want to sign up over there and do some reading.

Have you sent a message to the site administrators and give them your ideals? I know there isn't too many 12 valve diesel around, But there is a lot of the 24 valve encore motor. Which is the 5.9 diesels. And now the 6.7 before the DEF and now with DEF. It doesn't hit to ask. I wouldn't think it would be that hard to merge to each section, base on the year of the vehicle.

There aren't a lot of ANY single engine setup here.
I've got a 12 valve, but I also owned an 08, and I've got a lot of friends with P pumped, VP'd, and common rail trucks.
I hardly ever go in the 2nd gen section because honestly, I don't really care about the problems that most of the gasser guys have. Sure, I've owned and worked on them, but I just don't really want to read it.

Thats why I think a sticky at the top for diesels would be nice. Then you could just go to it and not read anything else. I dont care about all these new diesels but I have to sift through their crap to get to what I am looking for.
