Default first time dodge owner and first time to forum

hello everyone,
this is my first time every posting to this site so bear with me.
i have recently bought my (15 years in the making) 2006 dodge 2500 quad cab cummins it has been something i could never afford. but i did a lot of research and just figured i will just go for it i took the keys to the beast on 11-12-13. so far its been the best investment i have ever made.
the best part is even the wife smiles when she drives it. allways a bonus!
so being a newbe what is some good advice you guys and girls can give me for fuel mileage, and other great things to do with my new toy

keep your rpm's between 1800-2000rpm for best fuel economy.

adding timing always helps with fuel economy as well...

best tuner for a 06 is going to be EFI-Live.

gauges are a good idea too...

trans temp (if automatic) EGT, boost, rail pressure.

avoid oiled air filters like the plague. that means no K&N's!! dry filters only! turbo diesels demand a lot more air than gas motors and have the ability to suck oil right out of an air filter.

run quality fuel filters in there. 2-3 micron are the best. and adding lubrication to the fuel doesn't hurt either.

I run 128:1 mix of supertech 2-cycle oil with my fuel for injection pump and injector lubrication. any TC-W3 rated 2-cycle oil will work. the cheaper the better which the cheapest is probably supertech by the gallon at wally world.
