2004 dodge ram 3500 5.9 cummings hard starting
When it gets below 50 deg it will not start. When I plug in the heater it will start. I have plenty of power and truck runs great after it starts.
I beleive that the intake heaters are not kicking in. The wait light comes on for 10 sec when I turn the key. I have replaced the intake heaters, lift pump and changed the fuel filter.
I found where I can use a multimeter and verify resistance with temp and appears to be ok for the ambient air temp sensor.
I took it into a garage and they did everything they could think of the find the problem and could not. They checked the injectors etc. There are no codes.
Anybody have any ideas of where to start looking? Do not want to just start buying new parts until I can identify what I need to replace.
