2012 won't start
Not sure what my problem is, and don't want to throw money at it not knowing.
This truck has the win module going bad I believe. It started a couple months ago where I would have to wiggle the fob to get it to start.
I go on vacation, come back and the truck does nothing but click. All lights, plus some extras light up. When you turn the key, just a click. If you hold it over it just keeps clicking. I've tried jumping it, I've put a tender on it, and still not getting anything.
I almost feel like it is batteries because when I got ready to start it when I got back the truck had no power, windows wouldn't roll down, etc. It shows 13-14 volts continuously now, and electronics work as they should. When I try to jump it, it'll show upwards of 16 volts.
Not sure when batteries were last replaced, the guy who had the truck before me didn't cut out the dates on the battery. I know they're at least 1.5 year old though.
Still wondering if it's batteries or WIN module, or maybe both?
I'm not going to pay $250 to have it towed anywhere, I'm out in the country.
