Check Guages Light Ding Ding
Hi All, I have read around and have talked to many regarding my issue
1998 Dodge 2500 with Cummins Turbo Diesel
Periodically under load or not (I pull a 26ft 5th wheel) the check gauges light comes on and the following happens
fuel gauge goes to empty, same time fuel light comes on ding ding
volt meter goes to the far left position,
also oil pressure gauge goes to far left
all three may go together or not,
This lasts all of a few seconds and then everything goes back to normal. This activity does not affect the trucks performance at all.
just a pain in the *** so was wondering your thoughts.
Lots of oil
Don't want to take to a mechanic if I don't have to cause they will tell me I need a new computer, this happened to a friend of mine years ago,
also, this can happen right after start up and pulling out of the driveway so it does not have anything to do with over heating for sure.
Thanks in advance, for your thoughts.
