i have a 99 avenger and my problem is that my brake light is on....my e-brake is all the way down and it doesn't even work if that matters.... i was thinkin that it was something with the fluid but can't detect any problems... anyone have any ideas

 

Could be the cable going to the e-brake needs to be looked at. Or if you have rear drum brakes, there might be a problem with the wheel cylinder(s). Just a few suggestions to look at.

 

The brake light can be the E brake and also low fluid level in the resevoir , OR even excessively worn brake pads as the you need fluid to push them out further
