Default 2009 Avenger Remote Reprogramming

I have the orginal 2 remotes that came with my 2009 Avenger and they both work fine.

I recently obtained another 2009 Avenger remote from a car that had been wrecked. I know that the key will not work on mine, what I want to do is reprogram this one so that the remote works for my car. How do I do that?

u gotta retrieve codes for ur car first. u can do that by supplying VIN number to ur dealer.

I think on all the newer car, once a key is programed to a Vehicle, it's Vin gets written on the Key's chip, you can't reuse it on another car.
