Default no heat

Hello, this is my 1st time posting on this forum: I've been asked to do a possible heater core install on a '99 avenger. The owner took it to another shop, who said they "didn't wanna touch it". Other than maybe having to remove the dashboard, (that I can think of) is there any reason that this would turn out to be a nightmare of some kind? Please advise, thank you for any and all prompt response, 'cuz the customer is waiting on my answer. Thanks again.

Were you working on a coupe or sedan, or doesn't it matter? If it can be done without removing the whole instrument panel, I'm open for any tips and suggestions. Thanks
