I have a 2008 Dodge Avenger. The reception on my radio is horrible. I only picked up 2 FM stations and nothing on AM.


How can I test to ensure that the antenna and wire aren't damaged before I replace the radio with a new unit?

I'd start with making sure the antenna is actually plugged in.

 

It is plugged into the back of the radio and the connection feels really secure.
