Default New Muffler for 2008 2l Avenger

Hello,

I'm looking for a new muffler for my 2008 2l Avenger (SXT). Namely, one that would add to the aggressiveness and noise parts of the deal.

I am completely "green" when it comes to these things, and not sure where (or what!) to look at. I was thinking either Borla or Magmaflow, but I'm not certain if they fit.

Does anyone have any specific muffler suggestions / advice on what to a look at before buying?

Thank you in advance,

Aaron

What is the benefit of changing out to a After-Market Muffler that makes more noise?

I don't know but, I guess I am old school......as there is a saying....."If it is not broken then, don't Fix It."

My vote would be magnaflow. Any muffler shop will be able to install it.

Ha! You betcha!

When I was 19 years old, I owned a 1976 Ford Torino (351 Cu-In. V-8 Windsor Engine) and installed Glass Pipes and it sounded really cool, however, if I took off my foot from the Gasoline too soon it gave some mini-explosions out back. It was lots of fun at the time but, not a needed expensive as that $$$ could have gone towards normal Maintenance.

So!!!! I was kidding at my previous Post! HA!

Yes, it was a massive car! Weighed in like a pickup truck in today's Pickups but, it moved well for it's size and weight.

The Engine started at the very first turn of the ignition key turn thanks to JCWhiteny catalog and the use of Multi-Ground or Mutl-Electrode Spark Plugs.

The car was all metal, nothing PLASTIC in the Engine Compartment and lasted for a long time.

I do not know if this is compatible with your 2008 Avenger https://parts.mopargenuineparts.com/...9ab?origin=pla

This is the closest I have found online. You can try finding a replacements on social media platforms.
