I had problems with my Avenger and it turn out the TIPM computer and another computer that was incorrect for that car was replaced which cost me $3200. When they did that my FOB key would no longer work. I don't want to pay the dealer to make another key is there another way I can have a new key and programed without having to go to a dealer. I am in NE Ohio.
The dealership. They should have replaced the key at no extra charge, but they wanted over $200. Can't find a locksmith in my area that will do it at a reasonable price. I found one and he wanted just as much as the dealer. Thought it was a reasonable price ..... NOT. I'm thinking of filing a complaint but it will probably fall on deaf ears.
Wellsir ... I contacted the VP of the company of the dealership and even though they were under a new company they reprogram my FOB key at no extra cost.
