As many know, the 1995-2000 Dodge Avenger is quite a bit different from the new 2008 Dodge Avenger. There are no threads that apply to both generations of the Avenger, so above this thread you will see a section for each of the Avenger types. Please use those sections for your questions on either your new Dodge Avenger, or your 1995-2000 Avenger coupe.

 

my 1995 avenger has a 2.5 24valve engine i was driving, and it just stoped working
it will turn, but there is no spark in the plugs what is the problem ? and what does the (asd ) look like and were can i find it?

 

there are three relays on the firewall ...
first do you hear the fuel pump fire when you turn the key ???
ASD= Auto shut down it stops the car if there is no 12 volts to the fuel pump ...
in the 95-00 section there is a sticky on the relays

i would suggest u to check the fuse and switches on ur avenger.
