2007 Caliber various problems. Help?
I have an 07 Caliber SXT with the CVT and am having some seemingly random and unrelated issues... maybe someone out there can help me?
1) Yesterday as I was driving along I noticed my odometer changed from the mileage to FUSE. I assume that means the fuse is blown, but it doesn't seem to have affected anything else. Does anyone know where the odometer fuse is? It isn't in the owners manual.
2) I am having trouble keeping front rotors on the car... the dealer first blamed a front end vibration on the badly cupped tires (at 9000 miles ?!), but after I replaced them they then blamed bad rotors which of course by then were out of warranty. Anyone else having rotor issues?
3) This CVT has absolutely no pickup at all and I nearly got creamed a couple of times getting on the highway. Is there high performance software to change this? I understand that the Nissan Altima has the same CVT so I test drove one and MAN did it ever take off.
All help is greatly appreciated, before I drive the thing off a bridge.

If your Caliber is lousy in the 0-30 mph zone and was built prior to April 28,2007
there is a TSB# 18-031-07 covering a performance and sluggish performance
software update,it also improves mpg,I had mine done and the difference is
amazing.
I am not familiar with the FUSE indication however I only know that the power
distribution block under hood drivers side contains the ones that I have seen,
possibly pop the cover and check for poorly seated fuse.
The rotor problem could be poor quality parts or a result of your driving
habits only you can determine if exceptionally hard use is responsible,I have
only seen 2 other posts about bad rotors and both were replaced under warranty.

THE FUSE issue is for the IOD fuse under the hood PDC look for a green fuse in a white holder that has 2 in there push down on it all the way some people dont push down on then all the way when they PDI them and they wiggle up.

The TSB is availiable on several different forums specifically
caliberfoumz.com in the TSB forum,I would post it here
but this forum does not support PDF file uploads.
