Mopar Hitch Wobbles
I bought the Mopar hitch for the Caliber. It's the weird one that needs a 90 degreeadapter. If you want pictures, see this thread https://dodgeforum.com/m_535353/tm.htm
Where the adapter meets the rest of the hitch, there is wobble. Not a whole lot, but enough to make me want to eliminate it. Has anyone found anything that can do this?
I think something like the hitch-vise would do it, but I don't think it will fit the connection (http://www.hitchrider.com/nowobble.htm) due to the plate on the forward part of the actual hitch (see the first picture on the linked thread above).
The best thing I can find is this tightening/locking hitch pin http://www2.northerntool.com/product/200319807.htm
Thanks for any ideas

I am considering getting a hitch for my Caliber also. That is a hoky design to say the least. Puts a lot of torque on the bolts that mount it to the frame. What is the suggested weight for this hitch ?
How much did the Mopar one cost and was it easy to install ?? Apparently there are holes in the frame for it already ??

I don't recall what the weight limit is. I also don'tremember exactly how much it cost. I got a Chrysler employee discount
. Just remember to buy that adapter piece.
It's incredibly easy to install. I did it myself in about 20 minutes. Just 4 bolts to tighten, and they're pretty accessible too.
