Default This should be a good weekend.

I will be installing a few parts, Mopar header, Magnaflow Cat-Back, Air intake system and a strut tower brace. Not to mention that I'll be at a BBQ Cookoff!!!

You have to check out this Strut Tower Brace

This install went good. I did not put the Strut brace on yet. Now how do I get a good template to do a cut out for the back exhaust tip? It is hanging at an angle and looks off a bit. lol.

Find a R/T or SRT-4 and see how they are on there. I think the R/T has a factory chrome tip, but if I'm not mistaken, it angles down a bit too.

The CSRT4 has a totally different diffuser at the exhaust
outlet however your right about the RT and some '07 SXTs
had the RT rear bumper/diffuser installed during assy due
to parts logistics-mine has the RT rear on it.
Make a paper/cardboard template and use a Dremel tool
as a few other Caliber modders have done.

Thanks for the info, I used a generic oval from windows and cut it in half for the template, then transfered it to cardboard. The Magnaflow tip is 3" so it on the big side but doesnt look rice, so that's good! I'll try it this weekend then post up some pics.

Sounds pretty cool... when you post up the pics of the rear exhaust tip for us to see, is there any chance you can try and get a couple pictures of the manifold in it's as-installed state? Was it the manifold out of the MP catalog?

How much notable difference could you feel in orverall response after installing the new minfold and the cat back system?

I have a Magnaflow cat-back on my 88 5.0 LX Mustang. They outflow Flowmaster and have a unique sound to them. I am waiting for them to revise the kit to fit my 08 Hemi Ram so I can get one for it as well.
All stainless and built really nice. You should see a good increase in power.
