Default Electronic Throttle Control System

I have had my 2007 Caliber for 3 years, this Sept. On Friday, my car would not start, and the light indicated there was an issue with the ETC. For the last 2 or so months, when I would turn on my lights, they would blink and then stay on. Now, since Friday, my dash lights do not work, nor do my tail lights (brake, reverse, and turn signals work). The warning indicator is not staying on...just flashed that one time when I couldn't get it to start, and then if I turn the ignition into the on position (car not running), it is there for a few seconds. I know I need to take this in...but I am wondering about cost? Any ideas?

Sorry to hear of your problems,my SXT is 3 yrs old also.
I might suggest checking your battery terminals for corrosion
and as has been posted many times removing the negative
terminal for abt 10 minutes sometimes will reset the computer.
If possible measure your battery voltage it should be 13volts dc
or more under no load, orig batteries are notorious for causing
wierd problems.

I agree, sounds like a low voltage issue. Should be around 14 to 14.5v running and no lower than 12v with everything off.
