Question 2007 Caliber sunroof problem

I've had this 2007 caliber about 6 weeks, this morning was the first hard rain I've driven in. The sunroof started opening automatically. I'm not sure if this is a short in the electrical or a sensor issue. I've looked online quite a bit and haven't found anyone else with this issue. Anyone here have an idea what's up?
Thanks

Welcome aboard.

Any sign of water around the switch area or headliner?

Not that I can tell there isn't any leakage into the car either. There are some small "velvet" tabs at the front of the opening that are quite damp.

Is there any sign of water in the front courtesy/map lights?
There are 4 drains on the sunroof 1 in each of the "A" and "B"
pillars, sounds as if the hoses are either kinked/pinched or more
than likely blocked at the sunroof end.

Ours came that way brand new. The sunroof had to be completely re-tubed.
