I have a 07' Caliber that keeps wanting to stall when braking under power. First thought MAF but Dodge does not use a MAF on this car. Next thougt is EGR valve but not really sure. But any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. Oh and motor is 2.0 4cyl

I would suspect the throttlebody may be dirty and sticking shut under decelleration. You might try cleaning it first.

 

Thanks for the welcome and i will def try this first would like to fix this problem as cheap as possible.

 

Good luck. I have seen a dirty TB cause problems on the Hemi Ram trucks and since both are drive by wire tb's, it is worth a shot on the Caliber as well.
