Default Odometer readout stuck on temperature.........

Hello all. I'm driving the 07 sxt. I don't have the driver info center. In fact, I don't know why my odometer/trip display even has the temperature option, but nonetheless I can't switch back. I noticed this earlier today. I remembered the 3 key turn for the self check and the button press while turning the car on for the gauge test. Both of those were fine. Thing is is that when I press the same stem button to change the display readout info, it doesn't change the info, but with the tests it works. So, the button seems fine but any ideas why I can't change the display?

Could be a glitch in the system. Not sure how to reset it other than unhooking the battery for about 1/2 hour and turning on the headlights (to drain any capacitors in the system).
There may be a PCM dedicated fuse that you could also remove for about 1/2hr.
This may help. If not, I would say there is either a problem with the cluster or the PCM.

Temp is a standard feature. At least on the SXT. Our 09 has the temp as well and we don't have the info display on the left either. The only options we have besides the 2.0/CVT2 are the 6 disc mp3 radio upgrade and the MusicGate 468 watt sound system. PW and such are standard.
Have you had any other problems with yours? We have had our 09 over a year now and so far it has been trouble free (knock on wood).

Well, go figure, but it just started working again. I wish I could explain it. I guess everything kind of quirks out once in a while. BUT, thanks to all for the insight and suggestions.

I have had no issues, other than the previous and a taillight with condensation, since I got it with 16k miles. I now have almost 32k. With any luck the car will be paid off before the ext warranty runs out. I really like it. I will post some pics to my profile.
