Okay so i just got my first 08 dodge caliber 2 days ago. Its an automatic trans but everything is manual. But i noticed that my cigarette lighter does not work at all. I checked all the fuses under the hood could not find one in the car. So i was wondering if is something that im missing here. i even tryed googleing and i ended up here

 

Have you tried using another accessory just in case the one you tried was bad?

 

yes i have. i used my charger for my GPS and i also tryed the lighter itslef but it don't heat up. i even got a wire tester that i can plug in there and i get nothing from that either. so i dunno what could be the issue

 

You are testing it with the key on, correct? It only has power with the key turned on.
