I have a 2009 Dodge Caliber and I need to program a new key. Does anyone know how to do this?

Do you have two working programmed keys now? If so you can do it yourself. If you only have one programmed key, then you will have to have the dealer do it.

I am assuming that you are trying to program the anti-theft part of the key?

 

a new key i programmed by the dealer. they take your vin, get your key code and program the key. shouldnt take more than 5 min
