Default 2007 dodge Cailber check engine light.

i have a Caliber 07 model,tonight the check engine light came on,the little
engine sign on cluster panel. caliber drives fine, i did the ACC on ACC on AC on.it showed 6 little dashes then said Done. so whats going on? i follwed the instructions in the manual and its a no go. please help post advice. thank you.

Welcome to the forum
Not sure why it isn't giving a code. Perhaps drive by a local Autozone if you have one. They will scan it for free. Write down the code and post it here, we can guide you in the right direction.

well the guy at auto zone said it did not show any codes,but he said the scanner said Cam postion sensor.....is the cailber a PICE OF JUNK like the NEON? becuase i knew many of people who owned neons and they said the sensor on the neon would always go bad. if thats the case on this Caliber they can have this back.i seen to many neons go into failure mode due to a junk dodge.

I have heard of very few failures of the cam sensor. It's not a major deal to replace.

i think the GASCAP is the problem.today it flashed gascap where it says the mileage....how can a gas cap go bad...
