Hey guys I’m new here just bought a 2007 Caliber SXT and I’m growing on it. The G/F likes it better but I love Dodge and I am expecting great things.

Is there anything I should know about these cars before I get to deep? I know it has a different transmission but I have heard good things about them. The only negative thing I heard is even the slightest amount of the wrong fluid can ruin these tranies.

What type of aftermarket systems are offered and how do you all feel about your chouce? Thanks a lot I plan on searching the forum and reading a few things. Looking forward to the replies.

Actually I am just wondering in general what all is offered.

I have looked into the CAI but honestly for a 4 banger I won’t see much of a change without getting a dyno. I do plan on buying a K&N drop in filter just not a full replacement.

I plan on getting the windows tinted and possibly new rims in the distant future.

Haven’t done much research n chips but are there any being offered and if so are they showing much improvements from stock?

An DIY tips or tricks that are working great?

I haven't really seen a lot in performance options except for either a CAI (not worth the money in my opinion), a K&N drop in filter and Magnaflow cat-back exhaust.
