the scanner indicated this was an " intake manifold runner positon sensor circuit high" (P2017) is there a part for this that just needs to be replaced , or is it a leak of some sort. any help would be much appreciated. its a friend of mines .....just trying to help her out. thanks again ....ohh . BTW its a 2007 caliber , 2.0 with 123,000 miles on it. gas mileage is way down .....

 

Sounds like the variable runner system has failed. Probably the actuator.
