Default 2011 Caliber SXT stick

Anyone have a newer model like a 2011 that has had any issue that I should look out for, my daughters car was just built a few days ago expecting it on the 28th. I hope it makes it on time.

I've never driven one with a stick. Haven't heard of any issues.

Well I am not impressed with the feel of the shifter, I can't drive it so I am going by shifting from the passenger side. I am paraplegic not unable to drive stick, I learned on stick, drove my wives 2001 Neon stick without using the clutch except to startout and in quick response situations. I didn't say anything to my daughter buy when she has it in I am gonna have them have a look at it seems a bit stiff. The 2001 Neon had a great shifter also might as well not have a first gear, good to 10 miles an hour but redline is 6500 and if you see how the automatic trans works on this car wow its weird.

Yeah, the auto trans takes a little getting used to. The CVT2 hasn't caused any problems in ours yet. The concept is to keep the engine in the peak powerband. Of course, there isn't a lot of power on tap to begin with. 141hp I think for the 2.0L. It drives ok and gets decent mileage. About 22 in stop and go traffic and I have gotten 32+ on the highway. It's rated at 20city/29hwy so it does better than it should. It seems that a lot of fwd cars have clunky shifters.
