Default Clicking noise in front driver's side of 2011 Caliber

I recently purchased a 2011 Caliber Mainstreet. So far, I like the car but am annoyed by a clicking or ticking noise from what I think is under or in the driver's side dashboard. I get it when I start of and sometime when I am just sitting in traffic.

Any thoughts?

If you want to PM me your VIN I can check for any TSB's or recalls on this issue.

Welcome to the forum. It almost sounds like it could be a blend door actuator slipping, but those are usually more towards the passenger side.

Thank you. I did some research on the blend door actuator and am thinking that may not be the issue. I almost think something in the left side of the dash is a bit loose. Since the vehicle is so new, I think I just need to give it a little time to see if it discontinues. Thank you again!

Shawn,

If you cannot figure it out the dealership should be able to find and correct the problem for you. No need you should have to put up with that on a new vehicle.
