Whining noise
i m edcaliber my e mail is edvaz-527@hotmail.com and having issues with my tranny and finding out thic cvt trans is a pain in the butt. just replaced the tranny but in getting what sounds like belt noise? is it or is it the damm tranny? edcaliber

Welcome to the forum Ed. I started this thread in the correct forum since you do not have a SRT4.
I would start by removing the accessory belt and see if the noise goes away.
Could be an idler pulley or even the alternator clutch pulley.
I am assuming that you used the proper CVT fluid and had the level checked with a Starscan tool.
