My 08 RT Manual Just had the 50000 Mile Service or 84000 Kms. Just got the following Future work required statement as follows.

Play in the left rack end, front inner control arm bushes worn.

Are these big jobs and is it normal for these needing attention at this age of the car.

Yes, it is kinda common on these cars to need struts, bushings and tie-rod ends a bit early. Especially if the roads in your area are crappy.
