Check engine light on 2008 Dodge Caliber
I have a 2008 Dodge caliber. The check engine light came on and I had it checked and I was told that it was the Cam Shaft Position Sensor. I replaced the sensors and drove the car as usual for several weeks and many, many starts, and still the light has not gone out. I then thought that maybe the O2 sensors needed replacing, so I did that and still the light is on. I cannot get my car inspected for emmissions with this light on, please I need help, I'm all out of ideas. I just want to say that I love this car, but I am starting to loose faith. Help !!

We did that and it just turns right back on again. the scanner just says that the code is "pending". The place where I take to get inspections, the emmissions machine says that it is "not ready" and will not pass the emmissions. I am at a loss, I just dont know what to do. My friends are telling me to get rid of the car, but I do not want to. I'm lost.

need the exact code please. It should be on the emission print out, or autozone print out.
if you have none, do the Key Dance.
Turn Key ON OFF ON OFF ON within 5 second. and read your odomete.
why would you get rid of a whole car over some stupid thing that can probably get fix for fairly cheap?
