Default 07 Dodge Caliber Horn Not Working..!

My Dodge Caliber horn isn't working. It makes short beeps, won't stay on when I hold the horn pad down.

Is it the horn itself?
Bad actuator pad on steering wheel?

Please help a guy out..!

Welcome to the forum. It sounds as if the horn itself may be bad. To verify, run a wire from the + side of the battery to the + plug on the horn and see if it blows correctly. If not it's the horn, if do, it is possibly the clock spring behind the steering wheel in the column.

It's most likely the horn. Just unplug the horn and check for power while someone is pressing the wheel. The horn grounds through its mounting point. If you have power replace the horn.
