What engine fits my caliber
I have a caliber 2.0 with a bad engine. What engine types can I put in my caliber and from what brands, such Jeep? I am looking to put a bit more HP in this car.....
It is currently the ill CVT tranny.....

The Caliber and Jeep Compass are basically the same. Your options are all in the World Engine family. 1.8L, 2.0L and 2.4L. The SRT-4 Calibers had a 285hp Turbocharged 2.4L.
I think you can also use the 2.4L from an 08-2010 Avenger as well. The earlier 2005-back engines in the Neon and Stratus type vehicles are a different animal so stay away from those.
