Default 2011 dodge caliber stx uconnect Australia

Hi guys I have just resently purchased a caliber second hand from a dealer but setting up the uconnect has be a complet fale and even today was told from the dealer the car does not have it and to get it connected would cost up to a thousand dollars any thoughts or anyone know if what thay say is true or not ? Thanks

If it does not come from the factory with it, it will be expensive to add the feature. Moving to the Caliber section so maybe someone else can give some insight. Welcome to DF.

I don't know what all in involved on the 2011 Caliber to install it. On the 09 is only consist of a module and wiring harness because it is only for Bluetooth for talking on the phone.
The new cars U-Connect it has a hard drive and other features that are all integrated together. What does your radio look like?
We had the Bluetooth U-Connect dealer installed on out 09 and it was around $450 at the time.

You can find the parts online for about $225 - $250, do the install yourself because it's quite easy, then take the vehicle to the dealer to have them program it for sales code RSP. Call around for this step, dealers will charge between 50 & $100.

If your radio has 2 ***** like this on, then you can do like xsdbs said above.
