Found caliber turning over but wouldn't start this am.I found out what whole issue is and thought I would share , that and going to dodge too. Found that the harness was badly burnt up where it plugs into bottom of fuel pump module inside tank.There is a short harness connecting the fuel pump to the top plastic module cover.The plug that plugs into it was massively burnt up and the plastic terminal in the module cover was also burnt badly.This shouldn't be doing this at all and could lead to a explosion if tank happens to be less the 3/4 filled and this sparks.Anyone else have a fuel pump problem and found this?this is 07 r/t with 120k.

 

Lucky find. That could have been nasty if it sparked in gasoline fumes.

It is the first that I have heard of it.
