i cant get it to even turn over, i hooked a scanner to it and it gives no communication code, it wont let me erase any codes or anything. i have checked wiring and all looks good, i pulled starter and it turns over fine when i hook it up direct. not sure what else it could be.

 

Have the battery load tested. It can turn a starter over when the starter is removed from the car, but not enough power to tun the engine over.

 

Do all of the warning lights on the dash light up with the key in the start position?
From the sound of your other post, I am suspecting that your PCM has failed.
