My door would not close on my 2008 dodge caliber . When I tried to close it, it just would not shut. I finally was able to pry it where it would close but a coil fell out. I tried to put it back but it wont go back. The door is shutting, but it is off line and I have to Slam it for it to close. I was doing research on how to fix it and I see there have been alot of problems with the door hinges. Is this something that is covered and if it isn't is it expensive to get fixed?

 

Covered by what? Replacing door hinges it not expensive. Buy new hinges and install them yourself. Cost of parts alone. Check ebay, parts stores, dealer, etc
