Dodge Calibre - brake lights not working!
Hi there
wondering if someone could offer advice on a little problem I have.
I have a 2006 dodge caliber SXT 1.8. A week ago both brake lights stopped working simultaneously. All other light and electrics work on the car. I took the car to a garage who said I needed new brake lights as the bulbs had blown. Bulbs were replaced but still no brake lights.
The same garage then said it must be the brake sensor so that too was replaced but still no brake lights. They said the fuse seems to be fine and can see no obvious issue with the wiring so we are at a loss as to what the problem is.
they said an auto electrician is the next step and a full diagnostic check. Possibly ECU which sounds expensive. Kids are off school for summer break so couldn't happen at a worse time.
any ideas what this could be? Appreciate any thoughts.

hi that is the item the garage replaced just a few hours ago. Still no lights. I plan to go get a diagnostic later but I am completely stumped for ideas. Not the bulbs, sensor or fuse. Wiring seems ok
