Default Wiring / Relay / Terrible service

I’ll be as quick as can be.

’09 Caliber: 160,000km

Died while driving. Won’t start again. Alternator?

Towed to Canadian tire. Weird OBD readings. Told it needs a new starter.

Seems wrong. I do my research. Issue seems electrical. Might need flashed. Probably a problem with relay(s) or wire(s) though. Still, needs to go to dealer.

Tow again to dealer

Tell them I think it’s a wiring/relay problem. They see weird codes and agree. Still charge me for a 1 hour diagnostic. Told it will take 4 hours to fix. They give me attitude for asking questions.

They lose my keys. I wait a day. Call to ask what’s going on. They haven’t done anything, think it’s hilarious.

They “find” my keys and get to “work”.

I go to pick up my car. It’s running/waiting for me. I notice a huge gouge and scratches on the rear bumper.

Get in, drive away angrily.

Get home. Relax. Get back in car... won’t start. Same as before. No start, no crank, no click... lights
and such work.

Pop hood, oil or coolant pooled around engine. Aftermarket relay dangling beside battery. Not taped, shrink wrapped.. just twisted onto old wire, exposed to ground. I tape it up cause f*** that.

Try starting it again... nothing. Again... nothing. Again... it starts! Sounds weaker than before but what do I know.

Starts about 1 in every 4-8 times.

What did that dealer do?!

The only other time I brought it to them they effed up an oil change!!! Like how tf.

So, $750 later and I have a newly damaged bumper, a car that will surely die mid-drive again soon, if it keeps starting, that is, and a leak of some sort in my engine.

Advice?
Tech? Mech? DIY? Legal?!

Sounds like some shoddy work for sure. I am thing the power distribution block (large fuse panel) is bad. They wired around it with an aftermarket relay. I'm really surprised than a Chrysler dealer would do this.
