Hi All, I'm new to the forum and only know the basics of car maintenance. But my husband has been working on our 2011 Dodge caliber because the gears on the display are showing as all selected. He has replaced the battery, the connections for the battery, taken off the kick panel on the drivers side to see if the ground wire was kinked. thinking maybe a short in the wire. Also something about the TIPM needing to be replaced. Anyway came on here to see if anyone has had this problem, or has any ideas on what the issue could be? Any advice would be great, Thank you!

 

Transmission range sensor likely failed. PCM doesn't know what gear the trans is in, so, gives you that clue to let ya know.
