AutoStick coupled with the CVT2

RE: AutoStick coupled with the CVT2
I am a Caliber R/T owner and believe me, I am as proud as any of my beautiful ride.
However, the GTP comes with a Supercharged V8 and a sport-tuned transmission.
The 2.4L CVT is many nice things, but a straightline racer it is not.
I still believe you and maybe my R/T has a lot of breaking in to do. I have less than 300 miles on it currently and I do not see it outrunning many cars right now.
Hopefully, as stated elsewhere, the break-in will give this car a much needed shot of *****.

Well Mr. Shumacher...
I have about 330 miles on my R/T and really felt compelled to see how this car behaves in your "slapstick" mode.
From the launch, the car wasnt insanely fast, however, the shift from 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 was very, very pleasing and surprising. I felt some serious acceleration there and well, was happy
If nothing else, this car is a huge sleeper from a roll. Maybe once I get my miles in, I will have a go with some cars and see how it stacks up!
