I FINALLY got a chance to get out of work a little early and make my way down to my local DCX dealership to test drive one of these. I think mine was the SXT w/ the AWD. I told the guy I wasn't looking to buy, but wanted to give one a drive..so he slapped on a plate and let me have at it- didn't even come with me!

That said, I had a good chance to run it through "the paces" and it was interesting. That CVT is definately interesting to drive...smooth. Very smooth, and I could see how it might be disconcerting to some folks that have never driven a CVT equipped car before.

For the price..I was impressed. A 5 speed would be amazing though, wouldn't it? I think it would change the driving dynamics of the car a fair bit...
