Just heard and verifed at Dodge website, $500 rebate ends at midnight tomorrow night. Supposibly all sold orders still receive the $500, not sure if that is until the original end date in July or not. Will try to find out more info and will post here.

 

It actually extends until July 1st. They've had a rebate for the past 2 months. Next month there will be the same $500 rebate.

 

No, it ends tomorrow night at midnight. They changed it either today or yesterday. Go to the Dodge website and then the Caliber site, then click on Current Incentives. You are correct, it originally ended in July, but since sales are so good, and they have a major backlog at the factory, I guess they decided to end it. The only question is to whether they will honor the original end date or $500 rebate on Ordered Vehicles.

 

My dealer has locked in the $500 rebate for my Caliber. So whenever it arrives, I'll still get the rebate, or a better one if that happens when I pay/pickup my Caliber.

 

When I tried to order my Caliber from my dealer, I was told that the rebate would be whatever was out at the time of delivery. I asked since I wanted to make sure that I got the $500.00 rebate. I would assume that if you already filled out a rebate form when you order and turned it in, then you should get it.

I do not know for sure, this is just what I was told.

Well supposably, if you have a Caliber on order, with your name on it, you are price protected, including rebate at time of order, I would assume that if the rebate went up (highly unlikely at this point) by time of delivery, you would get the increase.

Just an FYI…
I am aware of the $500 national rebate on the Dodge Caliber, and the expiration date being May 31, 2006 (today), unfortunately we will not be updated with new incentives until they are restructured for June. However, there may be local / regional promotions currently available in your area I am not aware of.
I suggest speaking with your local DCX dealership. All dealerships are independently owned, and it is to their discretion with regards if they participate in certain promotions or not. At the same time, you can contact our Rebates department. They can also inform you with any incentives that may be available to you. The number is 1-800-227-0757. They are open Monday – Friday 9am to 6pm EST.

Yes, the dealer said I'm locked in with the $500 rebate, or if something better is out when I pick my Caliber up, I can get that instead. But I am locked in for the $500 rebate.

 

Our dealership locked ours in just in case it didn't show up in a timely manner. I'd imagine it's up to the different dealerships.
