I would say the exhaust deserves one.
They've already identifed the problem and notified their dealers....Isn't that fantastic?!
That being said, I would think that all new models made from now on would already have the fix in place....

Are you sure they've notified the dealers? Check out my last response on the "Caliber Click" post. If you know for sure that they've contacted the dealers in your area, please let me know.

Thanks, fitz7

Just bought at Orange R/T last Friday. Our 'Chill Zone' slider thing is loose and won't stay. Is this the common problem mentioned in this thread? What exactly is wrong, it would seem to me that a rubber or fabric insert is missing, but has anyone gotten this fixed at the dealer and do you know what is wrong?

Yes, this is a common issue with this car. After reading the threads about this particular problem, I had to go out and see for myself! Mu local dealership has three Calibers in the lot, and all three of them had the same issue of the chill zone slider not staying in the open position. I have one word for DC, junk! If DC don't fix this, its kind of pointless of having. I orderd ny Caliber back in May and probably will be getting it in a couple of weeks. I tell you this, if my Caliber has the same issues with all others, I will not drive it off the lot until the problems are addressed! Hey, 20 g's is a lot of money for such a little car, and for me to be NOT satisfied with the car right off the bat sucks a$$...[:@]

Its not the fact of it being a gimmick glove box or buying it for that reason.....Its the fact that when the commericals first came out thats what caught my eye and made me look twice at the caliber....The fact that it doesnt work or is broke is a problem

Someone had posted that there was a dealer fix for the loose slider on the Chill Zone. Something about the dealer adding a piece of foam tape on the slider that makes it stay.

Check it out.

Later
