Default 15" Rims for SXT Sport

Hey, I'm just checking on wheel sizes. I know the SXT Sport comes with 17" wheels, but I'm assuming it still has the same front and rear sizing as the SXT and the SE. What I'm getting at is that I plan on getting 15" steel rims and snow tires for the winter. I just want to make sure 15" rims will still fit OK with the SXT Sport. Also, how wide of rim should I get? Here is what I know:

Stock Tire: 215/60R17

Using http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html I get the following:

Winter Tire: 205/75R15
Speedometer reading with non-stock tire is 0.2% too fast.
When your spedo reads 60mph, your are actually travelling 59.9mph.

So that looks good so far, I just want to make sure the 15s will fit. I remember a post saying they wont fit on an R/T, but I figure the SXT, SXT Sport and the SE all have the same brakes and tire clearances.

Can someone confirm this for me?

Thanks.

I've read the same, but really couldn't tell you for sure.

I did exactly as you're planning. I purchased my SXT Sport and also bought 4 - 15" rims along with wheel covers (I think bare steel wheels in the winter make even a nice car look like an Iraqi donkey cart!) with Michelin X-Ice 205/75/15 tires.
