Difference between 2006.5 and 2007 model
Is there any different options between the 2006.5 models and the 2007 models, and has pricing changed if anyone knows. My dealer is ordering me an R/T but the pricing is not up, Hopefully they don't up the price since they are so popular.
I went on this morning and priced an R/T, and I see no different options, but now when I choose the leather package, it tells me that it will automatically change the interior to the pebble color instead of the gray like you can't have the Slate Gray and Leather. Looks like with Leather it forces you to have the Pebble interior color.

The differences are in the 2007 from the 2006.5 model:
-Painted grill in SXT Sport (Chrome Grill is now extra)
-YES Fabrics on Seats standard
-Solar Yellow is no longer available from what I heard
-Light Khaki is now available (replaced Solar Yellow from what I heard)
-ESP is now an option (Electronic Stability Control w/All Speed Traction Control)
-Trailer Hitch is now available
-Seat Mounted AirBags now an option
-Caliber R/T FWD (As opposed to AWD)
I talked to my dealer yesterday and he said that there may be a slight increase in the pricing. As of yesterday, you still cannot order a Dodge Caliber but ordering should resume very soon, if its not already resumed.

My dealer told me he can order on the computer now, but it does not show any prices, so he also figures that there will be a slight increase.
On the AWD, Hopefully it is just an option and still available in the R/T Models.
Waiting for my dealer to call me back to go through the options and order mine.

I believe the Caliber R/T will be available in both AWD and FWD versions. Not sure if the R/T is now only standard with FWD or AWD with FWD optional, or if its just 2 different models. Hopefully Dodge will update their site soon.
I ordered mine today, and I have a VON number finally.
The R/T's are now available in AWD or FWD. I ordered mine with AWD. I ordered today, but there is no pricing in the computer yet so I don't know how much it is yet but we have already worked out the pricing just waiting to see invoice.

I don't think the SRT will be AWD. I know it won't.

If Daimler does indeed decide to enter it in WRC, I'm sure they'd use an AWD chassis. Will be interesting to see what the future holds for our little cars.......
The SRT that Car and Driver tested was not all AWD, plus how many American made cars do you see that are AWD with a manual trans. Dodge might make a special version for rally racing like Ford with the Focus and other American auto makers, but they won't sell it to the public.
