PT Crusier owners checking out our rides
As the owner of 2 PT Cruisers I can confirm that we have been checking out the Calibers. I really like the looks of the Caliber and took an R/T for a test drive. While I really liked it my wive (whose PT would get replaced) did not like it. Her objections were to the rear seat access and the high level of road noise when seated in the back seat. According to her " it just isn't up to the standard set by the PT". Since it's her ride that will be replaced it's her decision to make. (I'm not about to give up my GT 'Vert for a wagon)
Came out of Meijer yesterday, had a Caliber right next to me, someone in it. So, I humored him and walked around it. He said "pretty nice, eh?" I said yeah, then got in my ride dropped the top and laughed. No thanks, the PT is gonna be around for a while ... unless ... the next sebring is a retractable hard top or the 300 goes topless.
Wow..could you imagine the 300 topless? That could get interesting. It could be a very polarizing design.
I make a point to point out all the Calibers on the road to my GF every time we see one (walking or cruisin by). Trying to build up some interest on her part. I think she'd look super cute in one. Don't know which colour yet, but its spunky...like her!

but um, no Sebring hard top, just soft top and you never know about the 300... People have done it and there will be a new one with a longer wheel base. You never know what Chrysler might do next....
