I plan on adding a ported 10 inch Kicker Solarbaric as soon as my Caliber arrives - I will let my audio shop figure out the install

I know there are not RCA jacks for an output, but it has to be possible. The MusicGate system uses the same HU, but outputs to a DSP amp for the 8 speakers and another amp for the sub. I know a lot of people on this board have a Service Manual, perhaps they could look up the difference in wiring for the two systems.

AMPLIFIER
DESCRIPTION
The optional premium speaker system includes a separate audio power amplifier. The amplifier is located on the
floor behind the spare tire in the trunk.
OPERATION
The power amplifier electronically increases the frequency response of the normal audio signal output from the radio
amplifier in order to improve the acoustic performance of the speakers. On vehicles equipped with an amplifier, the
amplifier section of the radio becomes a pre-amplifier.
The amplifier receives audio signal inputs for speaker channels from the radio, then sends amplified audio outputs
with dedicated feed and return circuits to the individual speakers.

Nope there are not any RCA outs on the stock H/U. You can however purchase a converter that accepts rca in and wires out to your H/U, that's what I did in mine. Depending on your tastes the 10" solobaric might not deliver what your looking for in the caliber... god knows it didn't for me wich is why I upgraded to 2 12" kicker cvr 12's... you get alot more bass, better low end response and alot more hit for a little more money. Here are pics of my setup..
Previously the S10L5

And with the new rig, the cvr's
