I would love to drive the caliber in snowy/icy conditions. I lived in Anchorage, Ak. for 24 years and learned to drive on it. Living in the great northwest I'll def get to test it on wet roads this fall.

fLA, I do searches everyday and check this and another forum, only time I'm sure.

my last project

No one knows if there is shock or spring of another Dodge or another brand... model that is compatible.
ab, fLAVIO

the Caliber wheel "holes"... are 5x114,3 (correct?)
and ET or OFFSET... anyone knows?

what do you thing about this rims?

OZ Ultraleggera in Graphite

theres is a model for
5x114,3 , ET 35, 8x18"
5x114,3 , ET 48, 8x18"

are one of those compatible.

the wheel weight in 18" is 8kg or 17,6 lb...
("It's very desirable to reduce unsprung weight,". Less unsprung weight results in better handling, braking and steering, all of which can help the car go faster, particularly in turns and over bumps.)

cheers, fLAVIO

I can't wait to see whoever has their Caliber lowered first. I bet its going to look bad-a$$!!

Lower it a coupla inches, put some nice rims on it...tints. The basics. It will look hot with just the basics. Its a hot looking little ride as it is (my fav for a ride like that would be black rims, black paint). I bet you'd get some street cred with that!

TSW Volcano Hyperblack
Size: 18x7.5
PCD: 5x114.3
ET: 40
weight: 20Lbs

Flik Hornet (gloss Black)
Size: 19x8
PCD: 5x114.3
ET: 38

as we can see.. the OFFSET or ET... is diferent.. in every wheel...
in the OZ Ultraleggera.. there is 2 sets ...

So.. does no one knows which "ET" is the stock one in the original 18" wheels in the caliber?
is it so dificult to get that info???? [8D]

cheers, fLAVIO

i tinted mine limo black and put black wheels with chrome lip on it and a billet grill from ebay. it really changed the look for the better. i get compliments on it all the time. im still planning on painting the hood suede like the 70,s mopars and lowering it when a kit becomes avail.
