Default Cashing in on the Caliber style

The New 07 Jeep Compass is an exact replica of the Dodge Caliber. I know they're both made by Chrysler but DAMN!!! Don't do that. CALIBER IS WAYYY BETTER STILL.

Tundra that's what I was thinkiing. The Grille is Jeep the hatch is flat, it's higher, Wheel wells are squared off, sides flatter Built on the same assemblyline. But Definitely not the same.

I think Jeep Compass looks different from the Caliber. Also, I do think the Caliber looks BTW. Maybe I'll have to see a Compass in person once they start hitting the dealer lots.

Exact replica...are you off your meds or what?![8D] I do have to admit the interior is pretty close, just a few things that differ to give each its own personal characterstics. To consider it a replica, no! They both just share the same mommy and daddy! Anyway, I think their both nice vehicles. Of course with the "Jeep" name comes a heftier price too, that alone is a BIG difference!!

You are right they are the same, typical US auto manufactures. Caliber is better though, especially the interior dash, the open box that replaces the top glove box and ChillZone looks wrong for some reason.

I see where Koolklowm is coming from, They do have the same look and style, obviously they are not exactly alike, I don't think that is what he meant.

That is like how people on here were saying the Caliber came from the Durango and the Magnum mixed. There are some styles that are shared by all these vehicles.

I don't care for the Compass very much. I looks off to me. Plus it's not trail rated and that to me are what Jeep should be. My last SUV was a Wrangler, now thats a Jeep.

I just like that the Compass comes with a 2.4L 6-Speed, with optional CVT. How come they can't drop that into a Caliber!!!!!!!
