Default Caliber 2.0 CRD (Doubt)

is it true that the Caliber 2.0 CRD... turbo does a lot of Turbo lag?

can anyone give me the brand and model of the Turbo?

is it a Garrett GT1749 (VNT)?

by the way... is the ECU the same of the VW GOLF 2.O TDI?

thnx

Sorry fLA,

I don't think anyone here knows about a turbo on a Caliber other than the SRT-4

I really need to take the caliber for a ride.
I read that the weight.. is in the diesel version... almost 2000Kg... and I don t know.. if 140hp of diesel power will be enough.
it´s really 2000kg????[:-]

its more or less 600kg more that my today GOLF mk4 1.9 TDI (210hp@4600rpm, 420NM@2800rpm)

cheers, fLAVIO

It accelerates in 9,5 sec to 60 mph and max speed 120 mph ! In Eu you can buy chip for 400 EURO and in 10 sec you have 180 hp! and thats only beginning!

On the other hand if you want save money you can drive carefully the fuel consuption can go down under 5 liters/100 km
in Poland ! liter of diesel costs 1,22 USD and gas 1,35 USD - for us your prices are haven!!!

Monter-> http://www.tdituning.pl/ ehehehehehhe

I will try to know the real weight of the Caliber,.. but 2000Kg... Its too much... even with chiptuning the ECU to 180hp
(I really know very very well all the steps.. for engine TDI Performance modding)

check www.TDICLUB.com or www.racingtdi.com

my ride -> http://www.tuning.online.pt/cartunin...lf-r32-tdi.php
